Zcoin is not among the best-performing altcoins of 2019, especially for those who have been holding it since the beginning of the year as it has provided nothing but the negative gains of -10%. I have been extremely lucky, or farsighted, to sell all of my holdings in XZC in August, when the price of Zcoin was around $10, the hours after the crypto market began to crash. If I hadn't done that, I would have reduced the value of my crypto portfolio significantly.
ZCoin comes from the cohort of privacy coins that include Monero, ZCash, and Dash. The concept of untraceable transactions is very beneficial for ordinary users, there's no doubt about that. However, privacy coins have recently come under pressure from the regulators which are, understandably, concerned about being unable to control - or at least have the illusion of such control - over the flow of money. It means that the tough times might await ZCoin, and other privacy coins, in the future.
XZC is one of the most secure and anonymous coins on the blockchain. Blockchain analysis is becoming more widespread and intelligent. They are able to crack platforms like Monero and ZEC. XZC is so far unbeatable in the privacy game. The time is now to start using privacy based coins, especially ZCOIN. Coinbase just announced a new company that they acquired and it came out to be Neutrino, a blockchain analysis company. This means a crypto exchange is in bed with blockchain analysis firms. This will be a dark time for crypto if we don't speak up against blockchain analysis firms.
Buying XZC here is like buying Monero at $1. This coin has the capability of growing 100-1000x during the next bull run. Buying at these prices is basically taking candy from a baby. You just need a little bit of patience. I'm loaded up and done accumulating so I'm not worried to spread the good word.
I just recently observed a situation on one of the well-known stock exchanges - the difference between buying and selling allows some play, and inside this narrow corridor literally every five minutes there are big deals, and if you try to place a real order, then for some reason all of a sudden trading stops.
