Thailand Stock Exchange confirmed crypto platform creation
Cryptocurrency assets again traded without significant changes in price. Bitcoin rose slightly to $ 3,915, Ethereum rose to $ 134, and XRP declined to support by 0.3115.
Thailand Stock Exchange has confirmed the creation of a cryptocurrency platform, which it plans to launch next year. The three-year strategic plan of the exchange for 2019-2021 will be aimed at the development of a digital platform and a single digital capital market. The Thai stock exchange first announced its plans to create a platform for digital assets back in January, noting that it plans to apply for a license from the country's Ministry of Finance to manage the platform.
The International Basel Committee on Banking Supervision issued a warning to banking organizations about the risks associated with the use of cryptocurrency assets. The committee noted that the cryptocurrency industry could potentially increase risks to financial stability and banking risks. According to representatives of the organization, cryptocurrencies do not reliably provide standard money functions. In addition, the committee is concerned about the security of cryptocurrency when used as an intermediate medium of exchange, and that no state supports cryptocurrency assets. The committee expects due diligence from banks that are going to work with cryptocurrencies. Banks should analyze possible risks and publicly demonstrate their cryptocurrency portfolio, as well as inform supervisory authorities about working with digital assets.
In our forecast for Friday, we assume a slight decrease in Bitcoin to the marks of 3900, 3880 and 3860 dollars, Ethereum to the levels of 132, 130 and 125 dollars, XRP fell to support by 0.3100, 0.3075 and 0.3050 dollars.
