Just like any nascent crypto trader, I wasn't paying much attention to the fundamentals of coins when I first started trading. I was just looking the price action, watching out for coins in the red that had the potential for growth. That's when I stumbled upon Augur, and it had given me one of the best trading experiences to date. I bought a huge dip in December 2018, when the price of Augur was around $6. A bit more than a month later, REP spiked to $18 per coin, thus tripling my investment.
For some reason REP has been pumping lately. Could it be because of insider trading? Is there about to be a large announcement, such as its platform is fully operational and we can start earning REP for making accurate predictions? It’s too early to know, but REP will become a unicorn again if it pulls of what so many have been waiting for so long. Augur made a great comeback after they were announced on Coinbase, but this might have only been a fad. The same was seen with other altcoins, such as BAT that grew during their listings from CB.
Augur still amazes me when I use their platform. They were the first ERC20 token to finally go live off of the Ethereum network. There were so many dApps that were speculating around that time, but REP pulled it off first. What's even more impressive is that the team has continued working away just as hard as though they haven't released their mainnet. This shows a ton of dedication from their humble team.
The one thing I've listened to Augur for was their call on the Super Bowl game between the Patriots and the Rams. It's amazing that Augur called a win for the Patriots. I bet a whole Bitcoin on that game and Brady pulled through.
When is the expected full addition to the exchange? The fact that they now trade in receipts on several exchanges, I know.
